Friday, August 1st - Pedicures and Teppanyaki

This morning, Kristin let me know that Kendra was going to watch the girls (thanks Kendra!) and we were going out for an early birthday present. My early present was a trip to the spa to get a manicure and pedicure. It was fantastic!

Before we left for the spa, the girls were entertained with a laundry basket and robe belt.

This was followed by a special gift from Auntie Kristin. One of the people she works with has been starting to do some woodworking on the side and made a beautiful little bench for Cora and Disa!

With the girls thoroughly engaged in watching TV, Kristin and I headed off for the nail salon!

Unbeknownst to everyone else, Jeremy called me in the morning to let me know he was flying in for the weekend. I confided in Kristin while we were getting our pedicures so that she could help me plan a reason to get out of the house in the afternoon to get Jeremy from the airport. We were already planning on doing Teppanyaki for dinner so we convinced Kendra and Peter to stay home with the girls while they napped and said we were going out to run some errands and get the food we needed for teppanyaki. When we got home, we had the teppanyaki food plus Jeremy!We had a great time together at dinner that night.
