Today we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens with our friends, the Medarises. Cora and Deacon are 3 months apart and have always been good play buddies. Disa and Evelyn are six months apart and although they don't play together yet, they do manage to smile at each other every once in awhile. We walked around the garden and then cooled off a bit with lunch indoors at the Sasafrass cafe. After lunch, we headed back out and went to the Children's Garden. There is a water area there which was perfect for the warm, humid weather. Even Disa got to enjoy the water! Certainly, all of the activity wore them out and they slept most of the ride home and the rest of the afternoon.

Too cute!
For those of you that have been around Cora when her clothes get wet, you will know exactly why her shirt is off

This evening, after wrapping up some laundry in preparation for the packing marathon the next day, I felt like I hadn't quite done enough in the day. So, I tipped over Cora's cup of milk in the refrigerator and spent the next hour or so pulling everything out and wiping down the fridge and all of the shelves. Boy does it look nice now!! :)
