Today we went to the Ballwin Pool. We were trying to decide which day would be best based on the forecast and I think we picked the perfect day! After getting our Ballwin IDs (not a quick process unfortunately), we grabbed some lunch at McAllisters (sweet tea anyone??) and ate at the pavilion in the park right outside the pool. After some much needed nourishment, we headed in for a dip in water to cool off.
Disa sitting in the splash pool.
Auntie Kristin with Cora and a crying Disa (I think it was nap time)
Disa gazing at the kid pool with lots of shooting water.
Cora traipsing around in the kid pool. The beach entry was fantastic for her!
Cora smiling cutely for the camera. She had a great time!
Disa and mommy (notice the drastic difference in skin tone!).

We had been fairly disappointed when we got to the pool to see the announcement that the lazy river was closed for repairs. As we were getting ready to leave, we noticed that there was a line forming at the lazy river. We hopped over to the entrance and sure enough, the repairs were done and they were opening it again. We ended up spending almost an hour in the lazy river despite the fact that neither of the girls had a nap yet and it was approaching 4:30pm. Despite no nap and being in the sun all afternoon, the girls loved the lazy river and Kristin and I decided we could do that all day long. It really is fantastic.
After we got home, the girls took a short nap and then we had dinner. After dinner, the girls were in a great mood and we had a lot of fun playing with them.
Disa smiling cutely. :)
Isn't this just a great smile? She loves showing off her teeth.
Cora diligently cleaning up some kind of mess. She is such a good helper.
